Master

Robert Kelley

Master Kelley has been practicing and teaching martial arts for over 25 years. He holds a black belt in Karate, was awarded a black belt in Taekwondo through the American Taekwondo Association and is currently a 5th-degree black belt issued by the Kukkiwon in Korea. Additionally, he has been recognized as one of the top fighters in the nation for Sport Karate.

But at the end of the day, Master Kelley is insistent on one thing – it doesn’t matter how many stripes are on his belt or how many accomplishments he can list on his résumé. What really matters? The benefits that he can provide for his students.

“I don’t care about that stuff,” Master Kelley says. “What I care about is the kids. What can I do for the kids? How can we help them get better?”

Through Total Taekwondo, Master Kelley aims to promote the spirit and art of martial arts to his community. After years of running his dojo, Master Kelley has helped hundreds of students achieve their goals and better themselves. He holds a strong belief that as students progress through the steps of their martial arts education, their eyes are opened to what they can truly achieve at home, school, work, and beyond.

“In dedicating oneself to a goal, a student will become aware that all achievement, inside and outside of martial arts, comes from inner strength and the fortitude to persevere,” states Master Kelley.
